Uptown Ventures Ltd. was established in 2017 and is founded by a longstanding partnership of three experienced businessmen. Together, they bring over 50 years of combined development and building experience to the table for the successful construction of Uptown Village.
Randy Meise is the President of Uptown Ventures Ltd. and directly oversees the Uptown Village project. He has ventured between three different provinces throughout his career and is excited to be returning to Salmon Arm, BC, which is his hometown. During this career he has been a partner/manager of two development companies (with Uptown Ventures Ltd. being his third) an owner/manager of two mobile home sales companies, and an owner/foreman for two construction companies as well. One of his partners on this project is bringing experience from owning/managing his own building and construction company for over 25 years in addition to their development ventures together. His other partner brings decades of proven business operating experience and is providing invaluable expertise for the Uptown Village project.
In the last project this partnership took on, Randy Meise oversaw the development and sales of an eleven-phase subdivision in Cold Lake, AB which sold over 200 lots and is now on its final phase. In addition to finalizing the Cold Lake subdivision, he is continuing his 11 year tenure as the president of UDI Cold Lake and is one of the directors on the board for BILD Alberta. Building Industry and Land Development Alberta Association (BILD Alberta) represents the amalgamation of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Alberta and the Urban Development Institute (UDI) Alberta.
The team at Uptown Ventures Ltd. is proud to share that Randy Meise, the president of our venture, received the prestigious Legacy Award from BILD Alberta.
“Randy Meise, recipient of the Legacy Award, which recognizes the unique role certain individuals play in making contributions to the industry in Alberta. Meise is owner of Tri-City Developments and co-founded the Urban Development Institute in Cold Lake 11 years ago when he felt there was a need in the community for an organized voice for the industry. As a land developer, he has been a champion for the industry in the Lakeland region for more than 16 years.”
“Building Industry and Land Development Alberta Association (BILD Alberta) is the unified voice for the land development, home building and renovation industry in Alberta. BILD Alberta represents more than 1,800 business members from 10 constituent associations committed to building communities throughout Alberta.”
We are excited to have Randy’s expertise brought to BC’s Interior for the oversight of the Uptown Village development.
